How YOU will make a Difference:
As a QA Engineer at HMA, you'll be part of the IT team and work closely with team members and end users on a number of exciting projects and programs that will have a positive impact on HMA's business.
What YOU will do:
  • Analyze, review and validate project requirements and technical specifications, provide and manage test estimates and develop and execute test plans and test cases utilizing standard test methods and tools
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers and analysts to address project requirements, deliverables, and any potential road blocks
  • Participate in discovery meetings, perform impact analysis from a testing perspective, and documents key issues
  • Identify, mitigate, and drive project quality issues and risks to resolution
  • Execute tests including, but not limited to, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System and Integration Testing, Data Validation Testing, etc.
  • Record, track, and regress defects using test tools and provides necessary metrics reporting on test execution, defects and overall quality
  • Seek out opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of overall test cycle through streamlining test execution and utilizing various tools and techniques

Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3-5+ years in Quality Assurance and software testing.
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in healthcare or insurance industries preferred
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test automations such as Jenkins and Perl
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Experience creating test plans in Azure DevOps
  • Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them
  • Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

CompensationThe base salary for this position in the greater Seattle area is $106,000-$125,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available.
