Scope:
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDAT) with 9+ years of experience in software testing and automation. This role requires both technical depth and leadership skills — from designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks to guiding Agile teams, making design decisions, evaluating tools, and driving innovation.
- The Senior SDAT will play a key role in framework architecture, backend and integration testing, and adopting AI-driven testing approaches to modernize quality practices. Experience in the supply chain domain is highly preferred.
What you will do
- Architect, design, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, backend, and integration testing.
- Lead and mentor a scrum team, ensuring Agile best practices and high-quality deliverables.
- Take ownership of automation design decisions and propose robust, future-proof solutions.
- Evaluate tools, frameworks, and technologies; present alternatives that align with business needs.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable release cycles.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered and agentic approaches to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test strategies and quality outcomes.
What are we looking for
- 9+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
- Strong programming expertise in Java, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven experience designing frameworks with tools such as WebdriverIO, Playwright, Selenium etc.
- Hands-on expertise in backend and integration testing.
- Strong understanding of BDD practices (Cucumber, Gherkin).
- Experience leading Agile scrum teams and mentoring engineers.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide design alternatives and drive decisions.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in supply chain domain or products.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure).
- Experience with AI-based testing strategies and agentic automation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
