The Role

Provides advanced professional input to complex Q&A assignments/projects. Assists in the preparation and conduct of Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new or modified applications/systems across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server). Participates in the analysis and development of new or revised QA procedures and processes. Assists in the preparation and conduct of QA reviews and the development of test plans and test scripts. Provides help desk support to client and IT technical staff in resolving QA process or procedure questions and required documentation. Participates in the review of QA procedures and processes and the development of QA metrics for assessing the quality delivered application software or systems. Assists in design and implementation of QA software and systems and the development of effective testing plans through consultation with clients and IT technical staff. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Quality Assurance & Testing.
