Job Title: QA Analyst & Test Automation Developer
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka-India
Overview: Johnson Controls is seeking a talented and motivated QA Test Analyst with Test Automation expertise to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance applications, focusing on both manual and automated testing processes. The role involves collaboration with both onshore and offshore teams in an Agile environment, working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and maintain test cases
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for web applications.

Automate test cases using Selenium to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.

Validate data accuracy in SQL Server and Cosmos DB
-
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Participate in all stages of the Agile development process, including PI planning and sprint reviews.

Ensure adherence to security and performance testing best practices.

Cross-Browser & Mobile Testing: Ability to test across multiple browsers and devices

Cloud Testing: Hands-on experience with applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.

DevOps Integration: Experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline automation.

Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of SAFe Agile frameworks.
Qualifications:
-
6+ years of experience testing all phases of QA efforts for medium to large enterprise implementation projects

4+ years of experience in Automation testing using selenium,worksoft and good knowledge on browser stack,LambaTest,Panaya

Effective communication skills to share testing knowledge and strategies in a collaborative atmosphere, leading and influencing positive quality results among testing teams.

Proven experience in planning, preparing, and executing functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, including end-to-end test scenarios across multiple systems and batch processes.

Demonstrated experience as an IT Quality Assurance professional for small to large projects.

Experience in developing test strategies and managing all aspects of software testing and defect management.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
