POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is responsible for using Python programming language to develop and maintain software applications.As a Python Developer, you'll be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging code in Python to create applications that can run on various platforms, such as web browsers or mobile devices.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Writing clean and scalable code.

-          Designing and implementing applications

-          Testing and debugging.

-          Preparing server-side logic of web applications.

-          Developing back-end components.

-          Linking applications with other web services.

-          Designing and maintaining Python scripts and codes.

-          Integrating user-facing elements and understanding end-user requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Academic Qualifications

-          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or a related field;

Professional Qualifications

-          Relevant professional qualification

Experience

-          Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience

-          Python programming

-          Identity and Access Management (IDM / Access Management)

-          LDAP (e.g., OpenLDAP, Active Directory)

-          Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, operations)

-          Linux system knowledge

 

Additional Skills

-          REST APIs

-          SKIN framework

-          Kerberos authentication

-          Debian-based systems

-          Docker containerization

-          Keycloak for identity management

-          SAML and OpenID Connect protocols
