The Opportunity:
As a Pursuit Excellence Technical Strategist, you will support CACI’s largest most strategic business development and capture efforts with $500M+ TCV incorporating multi-domain cross sector solutions. The candidate will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to pursuit strategy throughout every aspect of strategic capture. Candidate will oversee solution planning and implementation, to include engaging with senior leaders from across CACI; and, will provide mentorship and guidance to Solution Architects and capture team members.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will guide solutioning and strategy for large business development / capture efforts valued at over $500M TCV. The ideal candidate is a player coach who is proficient at facilitating complex solutioning sessions with capture stakeholders, key personnel, and subject matter experts to develop all aspects of the solution and transform it into blue proposal content.
You will support business development and capture strategy activities to include developing whitepapers, support long-lead positioning efforts and client facing meetings, plus opportunity shaping activities such as requirements ideation sessions, solution demos, and building prototypes.
You will guide technical solution development, conceptualize and develop highly differentiated solutions, and produce solutioning artifacts that yield blue proposal content that is both compliant and responsive to the solicitation, and full of client acknowledged benefits.
You will collaborate effectively across business sectors and work closely with business development, capture, and line leadership to determine the overall solution strategy and approach that aligns to the client’s objectives and requirements.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • 12+ years of combined experience predominantly in large business capture solution development or related experience as a solution architect with a large Federal Government contractor and significant $250TCV wins in the previous 5 years.

  • Experience as a Lead/Senior Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect developing Technical Volumes of large proposals for DoD, IC, or Federal Civilian government opportunities, ideally to include experience with FEDSIM assisted acquisitions

  • Demonstrated experience with industry best practices for business capture (e.g. color and milestone reviews), developing supporting artifacts, and the ability to confidently articulate all aspects of the proposed solution during reviews.

  • Experience solutioning with clients to include assessing needs from requirements (SOW, SOO, PWS, TOR, etc.), with exceptional communication and relationship building skills,

  • Strong working knowledge and mastery of current technologies and capabilities employed in the Federal Government space, to include several of the following: Hybrid Cloud, Data Analytics, AI/ML, RPA, Agile, DevOps, Cybersecurity, IT Service Management, Enterprise IT, End User Computing, Software Defined Networking, CSfC, HCI, Datacenter Virtualization/Servers/Storage.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience interacting and presenting to line of business management and senior executives.

  • Experience executing within cross-functional teams (capture, technical, acquisition, contracts, program management, staffing and BD

  • Experience developing concept of operations (CONOPS) artifacts, cost models, technical delivery plans, and basis of estimates (BOEs), including bill of materials (BOM)

Desired:

  • Secret clearance eligibility, active Top Secret clearance is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline preferred.

  • Relevant industry and vendor certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, Agile, Cloud, Networking, APMP, ITIL, DoDAF, etc.)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$175,800 - $386,900
