- Research and identify potential suppliers and compare prices, delivery times and quality of Goods and Services.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance.
- Maintain records of orders and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations.
- Resolve problems related to orders or deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and order more when necessary.
- Ensure the timely payment of invoices.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Update management on purchase progress.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate in Mechanical / Civil Engineering with atheist 5 to 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry / Civil Construction
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- At least 5 to 10 years procurement experience in Manufacturing industry or Civil Construction
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
- Experience with supplier research, contract negotiation, order/delivery record keeping, compliance, stock monitoring, invoice payments, budgeting and forecasting
