What is the key purpose of a Publisher Account Director? 

As a Publisher Account Director working on the Enterprise team in New York City, you will manage and mentor a team of Account Managers, delivering exceptional customer service to well established publisher/media organizations to drive growth for our Enterprise publisher business.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role it is essential that you have:

  • 8+ years of client facing experience in digital media (publisher experience preferred)
  • Ability to build and maintain outstanding relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
  • Track record of closing business and driving long and complex sales cycles
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data
  • General understanding of contracts and negotiation
  • Excellent people management skills and experience leading a team
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

As a Publisher Account Director, you will: 

  • Lead a team of Account Managers to deliver excellent customer service and support multiple business initiatives for existing publisher partners
  • Maintain high client engagement through regular communication, demonstrating your knowledge and expertise
  • Identify growth opportunities, create strategic account plans, and eliminate business obstacles
  • Track and analyze performance for book of business to ensure all accounts are meeting or exceeding sales plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, legal, technical support) and leaders on projects to drive company growth
