Job Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) located in Abu Dhabi. The PRO is responsible to coordinate and a key interface to communicate between the company and government authorities/organizations, handles legal paperwork and documentation of the company, including but not limited to government related tasks such as employee, and employers visa services, Employment Permits, Entry Visas, Medical Examinations, and various tasks related to Immigration, Ministry of Labor & Consulates, company trade license renewal and implementation of government mandates adhering to the regular amendments in rules and regulations within very short notices.
Key Responsibilities:
Government Liaison:
Act as the intermediary between the company and government entities.
Handle official documents and paperwork with government departments such as immigration, labor, municipality, and others.
Submit documents for Commercial and Trade Licenses business requirements
Visa & Labor:
Obtain and submit new employment visas / work permits for all employees
Process and renew employee visas, work permits, and residence permits.
Responsible in payment processes such as paying Labor Office Fees / Change Of status Fees / Transfer Visa Fees / Relative Labor Card Fees/ Paying Bank Guarantees
Provide advise to the management of the best alternative work permit activities for staff in the processing of Visas
Ensure all paperwork for new employees and family dependents is completed.
Manage visa cancellations and employment terminations.
Document Processing:
Prepare and submit government-related documents, including visas, labor cards, and Emirates ID applications.
Collect and submit documents for trade license renewals, sponsorship, and other government approvals.
Facilitate complex medical / police procedures on event of death of any employee.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and other legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all applications, renewals, and approvals.
Other Duties:
Assist in the process of trade license renewal and other legal documentation.
Represent the company in meetings and communications with government officials.
Coordinate with the HR department regarding employee documentation needs.
Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company’s compliance.
Required Qualifications:
• Fluency in English language .Arabic is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of municipality affairs, company classification, NOCs, and government licensing.
• Experience in labor permissions, immigration, accommodation permits, and clearance processes.
• Strong understanding of government regulations, land acquisition procedures, and company legal compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of UAE law and regulations, visa procedures, and government regulations
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance regulation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
