As a PSR Specialist, you will provide rehabilitative and recovery-focused services under clinical supervision while helping clients build skills for successful community living.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate psychosocial rehabilitation education and skill-building groups.
- Plan and lead therapeutic activities, outings, and community-based programming.
- Support clients in achieving treatment plan goals and maintaining program expectations.
- Provide advocacy and encouragement to promote recovery and independence.
- Monitor program environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with agency standards.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with client orientation, education, referrals, and resource coordination.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams and participate in regular staff meetings.
- Serve as a positive role model and support clients in developing healthy coping and life skills.
- Safely transport clients and conduct agency business using agency vehicles when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by clinical or program leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of stable employment history.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or behavioral health challenges.
- Experience facilitating groups, educational sessions, or community-based programs.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented services and psychosocial rehabilitation principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Passion for helping others achieve recovery and independence.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of local community resources and support services.
