The Provision Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the order fulfillment of VoIP phones and related equipment, as well as device provisioning and testing. The work involves a variety of computer systems and thorough knowledge of the equipment used to serve customers. This position offers a great learning experience within technical field and can lead to higher-level positions within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track, process, and provide order status on all VoIP equipment orders working with vendors and internal teams through email and/or web-based systems

  • Provision, assign addresses, and test VoIP devices

  • Provide timely updates to internal teams on active orders in accordance with onboarding timelines

  • Monitor and report on active orders

  • Troubleshoot and test equipment using internal systems

  • Work with other staff and departments to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction


EDUCATION:

  • While this position does not require a degree, we are looking for individuals who have a reasonably strong technical aptitude through education or experience


EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years previous help-desk or customer service experience

  • 1+ years previous experience in technical field

  • Computer proficiency is required along with the ability to work within multiple web-based applications and programs


SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Have an analytical mindset, and ability to learn procedures quickly

  • Good problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and obstacles
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are necessary

  • Good decision-making skills with follow through

  • A straightforward, yet pleasant communication style

  • Ability to work alone and be reliable

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle frequent interruptions

  • Team player mindset with good communication skills


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Raise objects up to 25 lbs.

  • Ability to communicate information

  • Ability to operate a computer

  • Travel requirement: 10%
