Find your purpose with CentraCare as a Provider Record Assistant! The Provider Record Assistant analyzes, inpatient and outpatient health records for accuracy, completeness and compliance. Ensures a comprehensive legal health record according to The Joint Commission, MN Department of Health, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Medical Staff Rules and Regulations and additional government regulations. Assigns deficiencies to appropriate providers to complete documentation and follows up with ancillary departments to locate missing documentation.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Mon-Fri Days; 8:00a-4:30p
- Onsite training in St. Cloud for a minimum of 3 months prior to work from home options
Pay and Benefits:
- Staring pay is $17.75 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
- Pay range: $16.36-24.56 per hour

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Terminology course required.
- One year of Health Information experience is preferred.
- Experience with documentation analysis is preferred.
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) accreditation preferred.
- Completion of a Health Information Technology program is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Experience in prioritization and problem-solving skills required.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Computer knowledge and keyboard skills required.
- Must be knowledgeable in the area of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills
