As a Provider Outreach Education Manager, you will manage / coordinate provider outreach and education activities delivered to the provider, supplier, beneficiary population, the center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other contractors and third-party payers. You will oversee production of necessary training products, curriculum planning, and the development of work and project schedules. You will review / approve educational materials, provider manuals, and newsletters. You will also promote products through public relations.

Logistics:
This position is onsite at 4101 Percival Rd. Columbia, SC, 29229. The hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage education and outreach staff and activities.
- Ensure all contract critical tasks are completed timely / accurately.
- Develop comprehensive education and training plans and interactive workshops.
- Analyze workshop evaluations and assessments to ensure efficacy of training and to implement process improvements.
- Review materials created by others.
- Supervise the preparation, distribution, and maintenance of all provider manuals and educational materials.
- Ensure standards are met, compliance is maintained, and communication is ongoing.
- Serve as business leader and resource at national, regional, and state government functions.
- Manage planning and budget activities ensuring budget constraints are maintained by using the most cost-effective management means without reducing quality or performance.
To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field.
- 5 years of healthcare program management, government programs, or health insurance experience; 3 years of leadership experience (may be concurrent with the 5 years).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Good judgment skills.
- Proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Basic business math proficiency.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
