Role Summary:
The Reference Data Management vertical is a critical piece of the Business Excellence organization in International Health Delivery Services (IHDS). Under the leadership of the Reference Data Management Senior Manager, this vertical focuses on establishing the right operating processes, controls, standardization and strategic roadmaps pertaining to critical and prioritized reference data in IH’s primary operating systems/platforms. One of the key datasets in scope will be Provider Data Management, focusing on international Provider data within Cigna International Markets.
The Provider Data Analyst will support the integrity and completeness of provider data across core systems such as PRM (Provider Relationship Management) and PAS (Policy Administration Systems). This role focuses on methodical data cleansing, collaborating with Data Analysts to address gaps, and ensuring prioritized datasets meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Cleansing & Quality Assurance
- Execute systematic cleansing of provider data across PRM and PAS platforms.
- Validate and update records to meet established quality benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and turnaround times.
Collaboration & Gap Resolution
- Work closely with Data Analysts to identify incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Implement corrective actions to plug gaps in provider data completeness.
- Support initiatives to standardize and align provider data across systems.
Prioritization & Process Adherence
- Methodically cleanse prioritized datasets based on business impact.
- Follow documented processes and controls to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Issue Resolution & Reporting
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain logs of cleansing activities and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives aimed at reducing manual errors.
- Suggest improvements to data management processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in data management and familiarity with systems such as PRM and PAS (Globalcare, Actisure, Diamond).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to high quality standards.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare or insurance provider data management.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and quality assurance practices.
