Verisure is seeking an intern to join our innovation of new propositions (products & services) domain within the Group Technology Department. 

Location 

The position will be based in Madrid (Spain) with Pan-European Travel expected. 

Job Description 

• Deep dive into our product strategy using existing knowledge available across the company - multi-functional and international team - and working closely with our product managers.  

• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to innovation management. 

• Work with the Verisure Proposition Management team, investigating new business models and disruptive technologies. Collaborate with Managers to learn about our business model and how to innovate towards our growth. 

• Liaise with external companies, including startups, to assess their solutions and technologies, contributing to innovation scouting and evaluation efforts. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Participate in our overall short-term and long-term product road map creation and help us understand which initiatives have the highest potential. 

• Engage with our markets to understand local challenges/opportunities to feed our ideation process. 

• Engage with key stakeholders to present our innovation concepts, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic direction. 

• Work with external stakeholders to perform competitive reviews, market benchmarks, and industry analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. 

Conduct hands-on testing of external solutions by adopting the customer’s perspective, documenting the installation process, evaluating user experience, and assessing product performance. 

Among others, in this role you will be responsible for: 

• Researching the security market, relevant industries, competition, potential new partners and compile findings or run product testing. 

• Understanding how interesting insights can be leveraged into ideas for new Products & Services. 

• Supporting the Strategy & Innovation team members and working with other Managers from the team , beyond the Strategy & Innovation domain. 

Job Skills & Qualifications 

Required: 

• University degree (Industrial Engineering is preferred). 

• Complementary education: Business Strategy/Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Strategy, Product Design. 

• Ability to work in English and Spanish. 

• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills with emphasis on strong MS PowerPoint and presentation skills and the ability to work with cross-functional and international teams. 

• Capacity to understand the big picture and motivation to drive hands-on work to bring new ideas to life. 

• Entrepreneurial and committed, with a strong hands-on approach. 

Preferred: 

• Experience in the international business environment or having worked/studied also abroad. 

• Experience in market research and/or analysis of data. 

• Experience in consumer qualitative research, design thinking or any other human-centric method for capturing insights. 

• Experience in UX/UI. 

• Strong written and oral communication capabilities for creating and presenting. 

• French or Swedish is merited.
