Overview:

The Proposal Specialist /Pre-Sales Engineer has responsibility for design, architectural integrity, conceptual proof and output of the total solution (product, solution and services) based on customer requirements. They will detail the technical and services design personally or coordinate subject matter experts. They can be also involved in the realization phase and support customer and realization team if changes to solution design are necessary. The function is desk based.

Responsibilities:

  • Generation of quotations and technical configuration, for new and existing systems and applications (Software), which contains material list (bill of material) for system components, material list of applications and related services with quantity, also unit and total price and pertaining. Close alignment with Sales of relevant market needed.

  • Sales-related consultation for the deployment of the Unify /Mitel product & services portfolio and as well as the selection/configuration of the products/services during the projecting phase.

  • Generation of offer documents (incl. cover letter, Scope of Work, Value proposition, etc.) ready to be sent out to customer both in German and specified language.

  • Balance business requirements with technical needs.

  • They can be also involved in the realization phase and support customer and realization team if changes to solution design are necessary.

  • Answering product-related as well as special, sales-related questions will be performed either by Telephone or e-mail.

  • Assistance for customer projects and RFP’s, to help with building tender / offers. This will include services, for planning the best technical solution, the configuration of the proffered technology with regard to features requested in the invitation to tender.

Requirements:

  • German fluent (both written and spoken) - minimum B2.

  • English fluent (both written and spoken) - minimum B2.

  • Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.

  • Customer facing profile with excellent Communication Skills.

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point) and relevant computer literacy.
