As a Proposal Analyst – Level 2 located in Colorado Springs, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
Our Proposal Analyst will help create automation tools and utilize Agile approaches for pricing strategies to help minimize administrative tasks and focus on estimating and analysis. This position will support our Space Sector.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
In this job, you will:
- Establish cost analysis positions and negotiation ranges, including completion of supplier proposal compliance review
- Develop, plan and schedule proposals
- Compile cost, schedule and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications
- Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling and performance elements from functional departments
- Research and analyze historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts
- Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Experience with proposal, pricing or finance
- Experience with MS Office, specifically MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of government regulations, FAR and DFAR
- Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality
- Experience with Excel Pivot Tables, VBA coding and Macros
- Experience with parametric modeling (SEER-SIM, PRICE True Planning)
- Experience with Deltek Pro-Pricer
- Experience conducing cost analysis and risk modeling

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
