Job Description

By joining us in this role, you will become part of a multidisciplinary team (data, programming, game & narrative design, animation, and more), driven by a simple yet ambitious question: among all the possibilities offered by generative AI, which ones are truly interesting and fun for gameplay?

The team’s mission is to test new experiences with real players, and to equip creators with the tools they need to imagine more dynamic, immersive and surprising interactions — pushing the boundaries to unlock features that would be impossible to build otherwise.

Day to day, the team operates at the crossroads of R&D, product development, short‑form game creation, and multi‑studio collaboration, helping shape the gameplays of tomorrow.

As a Prompt Specialist (M/W/NB), your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the scoping and design of AI-driven game features;
  • Ensuring the technology is accessible and usable by different departments;
  • Guaranteeing prompt content consistency across environments by testing how changes impact performance (error correction, divergence detection, rewording and clarification), while aiming to optimize latency and cost;
  • Helping define and promote best practices for prompt engineering and supporting teams in implementing them;
  • Contributing to the creation of both manual and automated test scenarios in collaboration with QA and AI teams;
  • Analyzing bugs and feedback, identifying those related to prompt content, and suggesting improvements;
  • Helping identify and test new machine learning models, as well as designing tools to support their use;
  • Staying up to date on the latest in prompt engineering and AI research.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about video games, with at least one prior experience in a tech company;
  • Proven experience designing prompts for various tasks and across multiple providers. You’re familiar with concepts like agents and function calling, reasoning strategies, chain/tree of thought approaches, zero-shot & few-shot learning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG);
  • Solid understanding of several language models (GPT-4, Gemini, Claude, Qwen, SentenceBERT, Llama, Mistral, etc.) and their key differences;
  • Fluent in both English, written and spoken (French is a plus). You are also known for your strong writing skills;
  • Strong listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to translate user needs into clear specifications;
  • Capable of adapting your analysis and communication style to reach a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Independent and curious by nature.

Bonus points for:

  • Programming skills (Python, C#, etc.) and experience working with AI APIs;
  • Experience in narrative content creation (dialogue, quests, world-building) and/or role-playing games;
  • A good understanding of video game design principles.

Additional Information

When reviewing applications, particular attention will be paid to the quality of the cover letter. We will favor a concise text that demonstrates a clear understanding of the position and highlights one or two well-targeted experiences and/or skills, rather than a long, generic letter that simply reiterates your résumé.

Recruitment process

  • Phone interview with a Talent Acquisition Specialist (~30 minutes)
  • Video interview with the Hiring Manager (~1 hour)
  • Case study (~1 hour)
  • Video interview with two other members of the team (~1 hour)
