Position Summary
The Promotions Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing daily promotions to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and boost sales. This role involves collaborating with various teams, updating the content management system (CMS), scheduling promotional banners, and using data analysis to optimize performance. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, highly organized, and has a creative mindset for developing promotional strategies.
Plan and Execute Daily Promotions:
- Develop and implement daily promotional campaigns across multiple channels, including website, email, and social media.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure promotions align with business goals and brand standards.
- Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies as needed.
CMS Management:
- Update and maintain promotional content on the website using a CMS (Content Management System).
- Ensure that promotional materials are accurately displayed, current, and optimized for customer engagement.
Banner Scheduling:
- Coordinate the scheduling of banners and promotional assets across digital platforms.
- Work with design teams to ensure banners are visually compelling and aligned with marketing campaigns.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Use Excel to track, analyse, and report on the performance of promotions, including sales impact, traffic, and conversion rates.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to optimize future promotions.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Liaise with the sales, customer service, and product teams to ensure promotions are integrated seamlessly across the customer journey.
- Work with external vendors or partners for cross-promotional opportunities.
Budget & Timeline Management:
- Assist in managing the promotions budget, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and within budget.
- Ensure all promotional campaigns are delivered on time and meet pre-set deadlines.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify promotional trends and competitive activity.
- Recommend new promotional ideas to stay ahead of competitors and meet customer needs.
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods.
- Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento) and banner scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
