Dematic has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager Simulation (m/w/d). In this position, you will be accountable for the implementation and configuration of computer-based material handling simulation models, to an agreed specification and time scale. Simulation analyses complex system solutions and helps to optimize them. You will contribute to project success significantly by validating required throughput and verifying concepts and strategies.
Processing of simulation requests and specification of simulation scope
Support of sales and engineering with computer simulation of automated material handling systems
Planning and execution of simulation projects with focus on quality, costs, and schedule
Analysis and preparation of customer data for usage in simulation
Development of creative solutions, implementation of complex strategies
Interpretation, documentation, and presentation of results
Active member and support of project simulation teams
Cooperation with related departments and customers
Commitment to safety and innovation in all aspects of work
Academic degree in engineering, mathematics, technology, or science
Analytical thinking, creativity, intuition for feasible and economic solutions
Experience in simulation modelling (ideally with AutoMod)
Experience in programming and software design
Knowledge on intralogistics equipment and solutions
Team player, communication, problem solving skills, customer focus
Continuous personal improvement
English fluent in written and spoken
