Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Project Manager with experience in Project Management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project or Clarity PPM). In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your program management proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Project Inception, Planning & Tracking, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Reporting & Closure. You will play an important role in leading the program team with planning, execution and reporting of the program while and reporting into the client program management office. Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or Groton CT or Stamford CT. or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technologies.• Experience with Project Management in software development life cycle, Project Management tools, Agile/Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 8 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.• At least 8 years of experience in Project Management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project or Clarity PPM).• Planning and managing large scale programs, with multiple internal and vendor stakeholders who will be responsible for delivery.• Managing risk, issues, actions, interacting with executive management, and reporting to all levels of the organization.• Hands-on experience with Application Development Management, SDLC, Agile Scrum / Kanban / Waterfall methodologies.• Working experience in Project Management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project).• Strong communication and Analytical skills.• Ability to lead a team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
