Here at UWM we work in a true Agile environment where our development teams work through two week sprints. As a Team Lead, Scrum Master you will get the opportunity to grow our team of Scrum Masters and the company's Agile vision. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Agile and is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve existing conditions and see the big picture while paying attention to details. A self-starter, who is not afraid to drive change to remove barriers from their team.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience leading a technical team
  • Experience in leading a team through a successful project that followed Agile methodology
  • Deep skills in Agile techniques: estimation, story slicing, grooming, etc.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, organization, and coaching skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and developers
  • On-site attendance



Preferred:

  • 5+ years of project, product, or technical leadership in software development
  • 3 year of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master and / or Agile Coach
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)



WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Coach and develop Scrum Masters
  • Continuously improve our process and practice in Agile
  • Ensure that teams are effectively executing against the highest value priorities
  • Remove obstacles that slow down or prevent work completion
  • Foster team collaboration and open communication
  • Create reports on Agile metrics to communicate team performance to leadership
  • Collaborate with other Team Leads to develop and execute strategy around Agile scrum
