About the Job

To work on a cross-functional team(s) building software products/services that help farmers maximize profit and field productivity as a Scrum Master. You will be responsible for guiding the team’s process and removing obstacles they face while designing and delivering quality, innovative solutions that meet customer needs. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in building high-performing teams capable of consistently delivering and moving on to the next high-impact project.
 

Responsibilities

  • Work with team members to uncover obstacles to team delivery and improvement, track them, and engage the necessary people to remove them
  • Coach a team in their development process, using Scrum as a framework and guiding them to what works best for the team
  • Facilitate team meetings
  • Help the team and product owner maintain a properly groomed and prioritized backlog
  • Use conflict resolution methods to help ensure a happy and healthy Scrum team
     

About You

  • Be comfortable using different approaches to facilitate meetings, retrospectives and brainstorming sessions

  • Enjoy helping individuals and teams learn and improve what they can deliver
     

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited academic institution, ideally in a technical field (e.g. Engineering, IT)
  • Experience in product development focused on software products in any position on a team
  • 1 year experience as a Scrum Master
  • Certified Scrum Master with on-the-job experience
  • Additional areas of interest
    • Understanding or experience in programming languages
    • Experience with agriculture, particularly row-crop agriculture
    • Experience with project management techniques
    • Experience pulling together data from various sources and analyzing it
