NOV is recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Aftermarket Programs Team in Houston, TX! The Project Manager is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing assigned projects, while ensuring to maintain a clear channel of communication for both our internal and external customers, throughout entire project scope .

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project management and customer focal point for all NOV associated project work scopes: Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) programs, Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs, recertification, upgrades, reactivations, capital equipment exchanges, OEM repairs, rig/shipyard-based inspections, and other internal projects.
  • Responsible for all project planning activities including scope identification, creation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP), issuance of project certifications, while monitoring and controlling projects which includes risk management, change management and progress management, reporting and project close out.
  • Create and document required work scopes of the project such as quotations, proposals, purchase orders and change orders as required through the duration of the project.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
  • Follow standardized processes, policies, and operational procedures from a global operations perspective.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and project management experience. Business Management degree is also preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' project management preferred
  • Position is onsite and located in Houston, TX.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Fluent in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with planning and executing major OEM customer maintenance programs
  • Experience with third party accreditation providers and industry recognized trade associations, i.e. American Petroleum Institute (API)
  • Technical knowledge of all NOV drilling, marine construction and pressure control equipment is preferred
  • Some travel may be required.
