JOB TITLE: Project Manager

DEPARTMENT: Product Marketing

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Marketing

TYPE: Full Time, Exempt

LOCATION: Remote

 

 

ROLE SUMMARY:

 

As the Project Manager within the Product Experience team your position is one of significant impact, responsibility, and collaboration as it relates to delivering white-labeled client programs within our suite of health plan member-facing communications.

The Project Manager serves a critical role in the end-to-end delivery of member communication materials and deliverables for our client partners ensuring project plans are built, maintained, accurate, and ensure the timely delivery of programs. The Project Manager must embrace collaboration, working in partnership with our teams in Product Experience, Product Management, Client Services, and other internal teams. The PM must be able to define and document project expectations, build repeatable/scalable processes, facilitate project ceremonies, maintain project plans and artifacts, and more.

The right person must be a team player, proactive self-starter, critical thinker, detail-obsessed, self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about all facets of process, project organization, and transparent communication.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 

  • Develop project management processes, standard project templates and artifacts, and ceremonies that are in support of a highly efficient and scalable end-to-end system
  • Create and manage project plans in support of each client implementation and active client projects and run them across internal cross-functional teams that include disciplines of creative design, content writing, client services, front end development, and creative operations
  • End-to-end management of detailed internal timelines and execution steps needed for all member communications
  • Facilitate project ceremonies including kick-off meetings, daily/weekly project status update meetings, post-go-live retrospectives, and others that support clear communication, prioritization, and risk mitigation
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks. Develop and document remediation action plans for identified project delivery risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine member communications go-live/launch strategy for each client implementation and prioritization across the book of client programs
  • Develop complete understanding of each client’s program(s), goals, market, and priorities to best meet their business goals and align their project delivery plan accordingly
  • Partner with Product Experience team members to create strategic member communication campaigns through review and approval cycles
  • Determine strategy and necessary prioritization within the PE team to deliver on our clients’ needs at the highest quality and on time
  • Partner with the Implementation Project Managers within the Client Services team to set timelines, manage expectations, collect client feedback, and submit changes/edits to PE team
  • Partner with our Client Services team and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation process, and timely go-live
  • Monitor and report on project milestones, timelines, and time tracking
  • Manage and maintain the organization of a library of member communication materials, templates, brand guidelines, logos, and all relevant files
  • Partner with and manage external vendor partners as needed
  • Become a super-user of project management systems, tools, and technology and recommend opportunities to further leverage these capabilities and automate manual steps in the workflow.

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

 

  • College degree (BS/BA) in Project Management, Business Administration, or similar field
  • 3+ years leading marketing communications projects
  • 3+ years in creative project management
  • Experience working with health insurance plans is strongly preferred 
  • Advanced knowledge of Monday.com or similar project management tools
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational, written communication, and presentation skills
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functionally with teams to complete projects, and articulate concepts and ideas
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced and respond to changes in business priorities environment
