THE POSITION
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a cross functional team of engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, finance and purchasing, to develop the project to the planned timing, within the target budget, and meeting the customer and quality expectations for the project.
Responsibilities include: • Leads Project Team in the standardized APQP Process (ContiTech MFS PLC) for both New and Change Management Customer Projects and reports regularly to Management at designated milestones.• Responsible for successful on-time completion of product development projects intended for serial production. Successful completion includes, but is not limited to:• Product launches are on-time according to Customer / agreed timing plan, with no major open issues or outstanding changes, and no issues in production.• All articles are 100% fully released by the customer (PPAP approval).• All tooling is received and invoiced as required by the customer.• The standardized APQP Process has been fully complied with, and supporting documentation is clear, relevant, organized, and centrally available.• The project meets all profitability requirements.• Creation and Maintenance of the Project Tracking Timeline and coordination of Team activities.• Ensure Prototypes and Pre-Serial parts are delivered appropriately and on-time.• Assists other departments, if possible and when necessary, to meet established project deadlines.

Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors in any Engineering degree or Business Administration.• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management/managing projects or 10 years of professional experience in project management/managing projects if no relevant bachelor's degree • Good project management skills (incl. effort / cost estimation, project planning, monitoring, risk management)• Good communication and presentation skills• Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)• Strong financial knowledge (Business case preparations, PCIS updates, and eCR preparations) • Willingness to travel (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 7years of professional experience and degree
