Job Purpose

What does a great Project Manager Advisor do? The Project Manager Advisor is a key contributor in the Conversions and Implementations organization, working directly with clients, providing project management responsibilities for conversion and startup projects. Conversion projects involve migrating an existing portfolio from another processor (TSYS, In-house, etc.) to the Fiserv credit processing system. Conversions can be for a new Fiserv client, or for an existing client that is adding to their portfolio. Startups involve starting from ground zero and building out the required products and services on the Fiserv system to support a new client launching a new portfolio. You can look forward to:

Ensuring that Fiserv delivers on its commitments to our financial institution partners.
Driving client engagement with stakeholders across the organization.
Driving complex, high priority projects or component phases of larger programs.
Delivering project on time, within budget, and within scope
Developing project plans, managing key deliverables, and reporting on issues, risks, and status.
Ensuring custom development is delivered as required for the client.
Leading and coordinating cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
4 years progressive project management experience
Effectively manages client expectations and delivers client-ready communications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Proficiency with Smartsheets
Ability to effectively conduct meetings and presentations
Ability to manage project deliverables and keep client and internal partners on task
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Commitment to be part of the team, and to support others in making the wider team a success
Enthusiasm to motivate others
Mentor/Advise Jr. Level Project Managers
Ability to problem-solve, mitigate risks and issues, research and learn independently
Adaptable; proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment; help others accept and embrace change
Ability to mitigate risks to project delivery
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

Experience in a client-facing role
Understanding of the Credit Card Issuing Industry and associated products
PMP Certification
