The Partner and Seller Experiences team is part of Commerce & Ecosystems, which delivers the experiences and platform which drive consumer and commercial marketplaces for all of Microsoft. From websites, apps and games you use to buy and manage your purchases, to cloud services which make it all happen. We are hiring a Principal Program Manager to drive and execute on the security strategy for our CSP channel. As a Principal PM in our team you will define the strategy, roadmap, run execution, develop relationships with key partners & sellers, monitor partner and seller success, and streamline our experiences. You will be own definition of and delivery for enabling a secure channel, and will define and own the related critical Key Results for our CSP and Incentives partners.

Security SME : a background in security with a strong understanding of best practices and application of these practices.
Drive for Results - Being able to drive for results, not merely finding the boundary of your responsibility, but following a problem through to its conclusion, to solve it once and for all, is a skill and ability which a successful engineer should exhibit.
Architectural Excellence - Core to being a software engineer is of course technical excellence. This is not merely knowing the latest and greatest language developments, but demonstrating a passion for technology, a curiosity to 'go deep', and an ability to quickly learn and build upon past experiences, to be able to extrapolate from those experiences, and deliver innovations. Technical excellence is rooted in having a strong demonstrable aptitude for problem solving.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate this broad set of attributes well.ResponsibilitiesAs a Principal Manager, you will define and deliver the Key Results needed to enable security at scale, and ensuring our ecosystem is secure.QualificationsRequired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Product/Program Management experience on an end-user facing product
  • Prior full stack experience - experience owning/driving a product that has BOTH front-end and back-end elements
  • Demonstrable experience with planning and executing a portfolio of products/programs across multiple product feature teams
  • Strong and demonstrated customer and partner empathy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant program management and cross-group collaboration skills
  • Cloud service experience
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining platform services and components
  • Experience managing requirements and alignment across business and engineering teams
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills demonstrated by cross group delivery, especially between engineering and business groups
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high-scale systems or platforms that meet evolving business requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to create an open and collaborative team culture
  • You must thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology and processes
