The Hartford is searching for a Manager of Specialty Projects to join our Platform Strategy and Capability Group. This individual will be managing multiple projects across the Contact Center

Responsibilities

  • Management responsibility in our Contact Center and Digital Enablement Organizations IT Platform Strategy and Capabilities team.
  • Ability to manage deliverables across multiple platforms and organization, strong vendor management within a SaaS model, experience in invoice reconciliation and financial management.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Vendor Management
  • Partner with Vendors to explore Products, Capabilities, Market Trends, Business Strategy, etc.
  • Conduct Strategy Planning prior to project Kick-Off
  • Consults with vendors, IT and Architecture to identify and resolve complex client problems.
  • Participates in financial oversight - Contracts, Invoices, Rates Budgets, SOWs, Important Dates, New capabilities
  • Working with Platform Support and Tech Strategy (Data, QA, Telephony)
  • Run Transformation Project such as transitioning capabilities to the cloud
  • Lead Hartford QBRs
  • The position also involves understanding industry trends and new capabilities within the contact center discipline, setting strategic roadmaps and conducting proof of concept work.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a Program Manager, Project Manager or Scrum Master role
  • Will have interaction with internal partners and management. Must have strong communication / presentation skills and work in an agile team setting.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Vendor Management
  • Contact Center experience is a plus
  • Agile/Cloud Certifications is also a plus


Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$112,320 - $168,480
