Overview

Come join Consumer Group as Manager 3 Technical Program Management. The CG PMO owns delivery of Consumer Group's top initiatives each year. In this role you will drive delivery of the Assisted Services program portfolio (including TurboTax Live!) through your leadership of a team of program managers doing the best work of their lives.

You will leverage your broad program management experience to accelerate business outcomes by delivering successfully against high organizational standards. You will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage your resources, successfully driving a portfolio of vital programs. You will quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player. Your role will report to the Director of Program Management.

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of experience in Program Management and 5+ years of experience managing teams in a technology environment
• Strong technology background, preferable direct software development experience
• Strong program management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, lead long-term programs, and to manage multiple programs simultaneously within a program portfolio
• Demonstrated experience connecting disparate groups across an organization to accelerate outcomes
• Experience attracting, hiring and developing top talent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
• Experience working on a product with exponentially increasing scale preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required (science, project management, or business administration), Masters degree preferred
• PMP certification preferred

How you will lead

• Drive delivery of a cross functional portfolio of programs composed of the most critical initiatives for TurboTax Live and other assisted tax preparation services
• Lead and develop a team of high caliber program managers, creating an environment where they can do the best work of their lives
• Partner with the extended PMO leadership team to establish consistent best practices for program delivery across CG and Intuit
• Become an established leader within the Assisted Services segment leadership team
• Continuously improve the operating framework that enables the segment to achieve its goals
• Provide an informed point of view on business unit and portfolio strategy
• Manage annual and quarterly planning, budgeting and resource allocation for the Assisted Services organization
• Mitigate risk and solve problems through innovative ideas and solutions
• Be a leader/teacher who role models leadership and domain expertise
