Job Description:
ECS is looking for an IT Project Manager providing support for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM!
The Mission Solutions and Design department exists to work with internal/external customers to design, develop and deploy software systems to national security missions.
- A wide range of development environments including .NET, J2EE, C/C++, Python and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of distributed and parallel computing.
- Knowledge of network protocols and network management technologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, and platform-as-a-service technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITES/TASKS INCLUDE:
- Project management of large and complex projects
- Oversee scope, cost, and schedule of projects
- Lead and implement large technical solutions
- Analyze new and complex project-related issues and create innovative solutions to resolve issues
- Provide application systems analysis for long and short term plans for application selection, systems development, and production support activities
- Schedule and participate in all status/team meetings
Required Skills:
- BS/BA in related technical field, plus 5 years related experience
- Prior working experience with managing test plans in an application development environment
- Experience with overseeing scope, cost and schedule of applications
- Active DOE Q Clearance with SCI
