Job Description The Data Center Migration (DCM) Program is a firmwide initiative to transition into fewer, larger more strategic data centers with state of the art technologies delivering industry best practices in Security, Resiliency, Stability and Operational Excellence leveraging the Data Center Entry Criteria. This DCM initiative will improve our risk profile and operating economics while reducing infrastructure footprint, complexity and cost. CCB is targeting completion in Q4/2023.
This role is needed to ensure the Data Center Migration team is in a position to successfully plan, execute and manage the large number of \"horizontal\" initiatives (Big Rocks) that are on the critical path for CCB applications to successfully migrate to the new Strategic Data Centers. Examples of \"horizontal\" initiatives include: Big Data/VLDB, Distributed Applications, Middleware, Business Partner, GIAM Rule #5, Long Lining, Decommission, Exceptions and Change Control Tracking and Reporting. This role requires significant collaboration, influence, and leadership across all CCB technology organizations and our GTI technology partners.
As an experienced professional in Project Execution in the Data Center Migration team, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture - namely, how can technology help achieve business goals - as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable. Once you and your team establish a roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget, and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration, and promote the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships across CCB and GTI technology organizations.
  • Partner with Application Modernization (AIM) Leads and CCB application owners to remove friction points and blockers to enable application migrations to complete on schedule.
  • Work across cross functional teams to ensure all 9 Data Center Entry Rules are satisfied prior to application migrations.
  • Maintain application migration scorecards and progress tracking.
  • Prepare briefings and updates for senior leaders on application migration items impacting their organizations.

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of project management or relevant experience
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with technical teams and partner organizations to successfully deliver on product commitments
  • Strong Influencer and team player
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Experience with Executive level status reporting and engagement
  • Experience with Agile delivery
  • Experience using Jira
  • Proven ability in working autonomously, embracing ambiguity, adapting to shifting priorities and navigating through change positively
  • Demonstrated experience with partnering across teams to deliver on desired outcomes
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
