The Implementation Manager in DocASAP collaborates with clients, vendors, and other teams to understand and capture business and technical requirements to implement, optimize, and deploy solutions and projects. This includes working with relevant stakeholders to report implementation scopes that align with KPIs and business outcomes. You will be responsible for proactively identifying risks within an implementation project and providing updates to leadership with a full view on how it will impact the business. In addition to these tasks, this position will leverage knowledge of DocASAP platforms and industry segments to design and improve DocASAP solutions. This can be a challenging environment where initial objectives may be unclear so you need to have the ability to translate business questions and requirements into technical specifications while exercising good judgment, prioritizing multiple tasks, and solving problems under pressure of deadlines and/or resource constraints.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define the delivery procedures and developing the improvement initiatives within the delivery team
  • Lead regular status meetings and prepare/maintain project status documentation, including project timelines, task lists, decision logs for integration, operational and web deliverables as well as identify project risks to/and escalate issues to leadership
  • Get hands-on when needed in terms of understanding and resolving technical issues
  • Act as the product and solutions SME on implementation projects
  • Assist the sales and account teams with scoping sessions, solution architecture, identifying new integrations and add-on SOWs for existing clients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in consulting with clients and external stakeholders, gathering requirements and presenting creative solutions
  • 2 years of experience using SQL querying a database
  • 2 years of experience using project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, Excel, Office, Smartsheets, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare practice management systems, such as Epic, Athena, Allscripts, GE Etc.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience creating interface diagrams and report mockups to gather client feedback
  • Knowledge on programming and scripting languages like JAVA, .NET, PERL, Python, C, etc.
  • Working knowledge on healthcare integrations and interoperability - HL7, EDI, CCR/CCD, FHIR etc.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
