We are looking for a Program Manager within our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging team who can partner cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions that support our DEI objectives across Box. As a trusted partner to the Head of Belonging, you will be responsible for programming and operations support focused on the hiring, thriving, and belonging of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
We are a small and nimble team, within the People & Communities org. As a DEI PM we expect you to bring pragmatic approaches that help Box translate DEI best practices into readily consumable resources and programs aligned to business needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner directly with the Head of Belonging to weave DEI into the fabric of how Boxers work everyday
- Support the design and implementation of short-term and long-term DEI programs throughout the employee lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams across Box
- Develop and maintain project plans, lead communications, and proactively identify project risks and opportunities as well as determine alternative ways to achieve project/program goals
- Partner with our data and analytics team to develop and analyze metrics for measuring progress against DEI strategy
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholder groups (Boxers, Leaders, People Partners, ERCs etc) to fully understand their experience and needs
- Work closely with our Employee Resource Communities to champion their mission, amplify their voices, and deepen their impact
- Apply industry benchmarks, research, and metrics to diagnose root cause issues and help determine “what good looks like” for Box
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience where you have honed the following:
- Project Management: Project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment
- Analytical skills: Able to distill data down to key insights that enable great decision-making
- Discretion & Confidentiality: Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact, and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Empathy: Ability to listen and help others feel heard, understanding multiple points of views and being a vehicle for helping others understand and learn other views
- Excellent communication skills that translate into a hybrid environment
Preferred Skills:
- Be well-versed on diversity and inclusion best and next practices, trends, research, and insights.
- Experience using various sources of people metrics to diagnose opportunity areas and measure results
