POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales & Mx Project Associate will support the Manager, Sales Communications and Special Projects in aligning the department toward business goals and problem solving cross-departmentally to deliver against our annual goals. They will manage multiple recurring initiatives that build trust and transparency within the Sales & Mx department. Finally, they will support the development, launch, and tracking of projects that have been scoped and prioritized by the business ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. This results-driven person should be passionate about streamlining, collaborating, and getting stuff done while maintaining a team-first attitude.
THE ASSOCIATE, SALES & MX PROJECT MANAGEMENT HAS 4 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management: Support the development of 1-3 projects that have been scoped and prioritized by the business. Create project trackers in a spreadsheet format, update statuses against deadlines, and follow up with key stakeholders over Slack, email, and/or Google Meets to ensure that each project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Departmental Alignment: Coordinate recurring and ad hoc initiatives that enable the Sales & Mx team to track towards our sales plan. Support creation of our departmental monthly newsletter and quarterly all-hands meeting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Consult with peers from Analytics, Marketing, Finance, and other key functions as needed. Participate in regular round-table sessions within and outside of Sales & Mx to uncover insights and inform actions.
- Executive Communications Support: Assist with developing content for regular communication to company leadership. Support the creation of slide decks, email updates and meeting cadences for transparency throughout the department.
SOME YEAR 1 DELIVERABLES
- Assist in the coordination of 1-3 project schedules to avoid delays in collaboration with Analytics, Marketing, Finance, and other key functions
- Track project KPIs and dependencies post-launch to provide progress reviews for key stakeholders
- Support rollout of new partner or market launches
- Launch and maintain Sales & Mx “source of truth” in Notion, a directory of goals, KPIs, and team members
- Be an active participant in roundtables within and outside of Sales & Mx
- Coordinate monthly Sales & Mx departmental newsletter
- Partner with Sales & Mx leadership to prepare for quarterly departmental meeting and ad hoc requests

EXPERIENCE
- Must Have
- 0-2 years experience in a project management, product management, communications, marketing, executive assistant or related role
- Experience coordinating projects or products from start to finish
- Excellent communicator with a knack for building relationships while following up on dependencies
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Retail energy experience
- Sales or customer service experience
- Participation in project management certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma or related
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Experience defining and measuring KPIs
- Demonstrated track record of service work / community involvement
