About the Role
As a Project Planner, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating project activities to ensure the successful delivery of our Baggage Handling System projects. You will be responsible for drawing up the quotation and project delivery plans/schedules in coordination with the stakeholders and technical departments, monitoring the realization of projects, Identify the current and future/forecasted deviations and discuss them with project stakeholders, and research alternative plans and work them out with the project team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project planning functions, including:
- Preparation of quotations and detailed project master schedules.
- Creation of manpower histograms and progress measurement systems.
- Establishment of logical relationships between activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor critical path logic networks, float paths throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing potential risks and delays.
- Provide high-level project plans (level 2 or 3) to technical departments as needed.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly updates, and project monitoring dashboards.
- Present progress status at meetings.
- Monitor actual data against planned units, track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CPI, SPI, and other EVM metrics, and present findings in clear, visual formats.
- Maintain and update a project delay register, conduct thorough delay analysis, and prepare technical reports and evidence for potential claims.
- Contribute to Invoicing & Cost Forecast, based on latest planning updates.

- Weekly updates of Project Master Schedule.
- Daily, Weekly & Monthly Progress reports
- Weekly Updates of Project Dashboard
- Weekly Updates of Actual data against the planned units, EVM data in visual format
- Data for forecast of Invoicing and Costing, based on latest plan.
Consulted in activities.
- Planning resources for the project.
- Planning tollgates in the Project
- Changes in the method of delivery by the technical, procurement or Installation departments.
Desired Qualification & Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years’ Experience in Planning Functions out of which min. 7 years’ experience in handing large Projects. Candidates with Hands-on experience in Automated Material Handling or Baggage Handling System projects would be given preference. If no experience in related field, training will be provided.
- Must be proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
- Knowledge in Project Management, Scheduling functions, Claims and Planning Reports. Preference shall be given to candidates holding or working towards PSP, APE (or equivalent) certifications or memberships.
- Basic knowledge in supply chain and shipping procedures would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated achievement in planning functions of EPC projects
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation processes, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Exceptional communication and people skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Proven ability to transfer knowledge to team members.

Travel:
- This position may require travel to project sites as necessary for project execution and support. Candidates should be prepared to travel as part of their responsibilities. Travel requirements will vary based on project needs and locations.
