Job Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for applying project management competencies to manage key elements of a project’s scope, schedule, cost, systems integration, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement, terms/conditions, and stakeholder interactions to meet designated project goals. The project manager holds the authority and accountability for project results, contributing to the overall success of the company. The Project Manager is the primary point of contact with our Customers during project execution and plays a critical role in the image of the company.
Your Responsibilities
- Understand the customer's business to ensure our team creates the best solution.
- Provide required updates often enough for the customer to be well-informed in a timely manner.
- Set up the Scope and Budgets using the Work Breakdown Structure in the sequence of work to be executed.
- Analyze budgets, scope, and schedule, to ensure Rocrich meets or exceeds deliverables agreed to internally and externally.
- Provide necessary Financial Variance comparisons in a timely manner to ensure mitigation chances are not missed, and seek/obtain value-added change orders.
- Lead in creating the project/system specifications and all elements therein
- Generate and report/provide ETC/EAC Forecasting/Mitigation as needed to internal stakeholders, including Programs, Finance, and Senior Management
- Ensure Accounts receivable milestone terms are met.
- Lead assigned resources to the extent necessary to complete the project.
- Ensure all deliverables, hardware, or documents are accepted by the customer per contract terms or Rocrich procedures to ensure phases are formally complete.
- Facilitate communication with support Departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Contracts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field-Robotics/Automation concentration
- A master's degree is a plusMinimum 5 years of work experience in project lead/project management in a relevant field that combines built-to-order products, software, and services to a customer solution.
- PMP certification or equivalent will be considered a plus.
- Specific Experience in mobile automated material handling systems is a plus
- Working- knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Projects and Excel, is required.
