Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Navi Mumbai, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive project success and organizational growth.

**Project Planning & Strategy**

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and Gantt charts to guide project execution
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform project strategy
  • Establish clear project governance frameworks and decision-making processes

**Project Execution & Monitoring**

  • Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and efficient task completion
  • Monitor project progress against established baselines and KPIs
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources with precision and flexibility
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Identify and address project deviations proactively to maintain alignment with objectives

**Stakeholder Management & Communication**

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations
  • Maintain transparent and regular communication with all project participants
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships across organizational levels
  • Conduct project meetings, workshops, and presentations with clarity and professionalism
  • Escalate issues and concerns appropriately while proposing viable solutions

**Risk & Issue Management**

  • Identify, assess, and document project risks and potential issues
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Maintain comprehensive risk and issue registers with regular updates
  • Monitor risk indicators and adjust project approaches as needed
  • Support organizational learning through lessons learned sessions

**Quality & Change Management**

  • Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and specifications
  • Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews
  • Manage project changes through formal change control procedures
  • Assess the impact of changes on scope, schedule, and budget
  • Support organizational change initiatives related to project outcomes

**Financial & Resource Management**

  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast financial performance
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization across project activities
  • Monitor vendor and supplier performance to ensure value delivery
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for stakeholder review
  • Support procurement processes and contract management activities

**Team Leadership & Development**

  • Mentor and motivate project team members to achieve excellence
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture
  • Provide constructive feedback and support professional development opportunities
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate productive team dynamics

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications**

*Education & Certifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMI-PMP, or APM) is essential

*Experience*

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional project management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
  • Demonstrated experience with project lifecycle management across multiple phases

*Skills & Competencies*

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to work effectively in team environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Advanced proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Asana, Jira, or similar tools)
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Strategic thinking with ability to align projects to organizational objectives
  • Leadership capability with experience managing and developing team members
  • Detail-oriented approach with commitment to quality and accuracy

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Advanced certifications such as PMI-PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe)
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Background in vendor and supplier management
  • Experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with additional project management tools (Monday.com, Trello, Smartsheet)
  • Experience working in matrix or matrixed organizational structures
  • Knowledge of industry-specific project management practices relevant to your sector
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
