We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join the NI FN Broadband Devices Business (BBD) team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the execution of the BBD roadmap, ensuring projects are managed in accordance with the Nokia Create process. The TPM will lead cross-functional collaboration, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards. By enabling the smooth delivery and introduction of new products and features, you will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the achievement of business objectives.
Project management for BBD Roadmap projects (E2E Product development and delivery on time with quality, within Cost Target)
Responsible for project initialization, progress control &management, milestone closure, following NOKIA PLC (product life cycle)
Work with PLM, SC & Procurement to manage the project content and milestone plan
Lead & Co-ordinate the R&D teams (cross DU) to perform the technical analysis, feature development, product testing, and reach the final milestone of the project
Collaborate with related stakeholders (e.g., quality team, supply chain, procurement) to manage and control the project quality, content and schedule
Manage SoC vendors on the SoC & SDK delivery, bug fix and document management.
Risk management and change management in the uncertain (or high dependency) situations.
Handle Customer issues (defects) effectively with TEC/CE and Maintenance PLM
Must-have:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Industrial science or equivalent experience
- PMP Certificate
- 8+ years of experience in project management and R&D, showcasing a successful history in release management.
- Strong English (verbal and write) communication skills
- Knowledge of network, TCP/IP, VoIP, with development background ( HW design, or SW development or Product Test Experience )
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, evidenced by a track record of successful project deliveries and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn, stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and AI-driven R&D advancements.
Nice to have:
- Technical strong in Broadband Products.
- In-depth knowledge of fiber, WiFi, Corteca, and other relevant technologies, along with a strong grasp of their applications.
- Excellent understanding of release management methodologies and best practices, preferably within the telecom sector.
