As Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of critical workstreams, contribute expert insight, and provide structure and oversight across project life cycles. You will work closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, and subject matter experts to ensure that all advisory services are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within scope.

You will also play a key role in supporting the business development team in bidding efforts and the mobilisation of new projects. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional looking to shape complex projects and deliver advisory excellence in a global environment. This role requires the flexibility to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
 

Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of advisory projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary SME inputs and ensure timely and quality delivery of assigned workstreams.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of project documentation, including workplans, status reports, and deliverables.

Client Engagement

  • Act as the primary interface with client stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring consistent communication.
  • Engage clients to gather requirements, understand challenges, and align project delivery with expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to internal leadership and clients on project progress, risks, and issues.

Advisory Expertise & Best Practice

  • Apply advanced project management methodologies and frameworks to advisory engagements.
  • Provide consultative guidance to internal and client teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the development of internal delivery standards and best practices.

Team Collaboration & Business Development

  • Collaborate with daa International’s Advisory, Business Development, and Base Operations teams in both project bidding and delivery.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and project plans, contributing your SME knowledge to solution design.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of technical and operational inputs.
Qualifications

Experience

  • Five years of professional experience in project management preferably in aviation, consulting, or strategy roles. 
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects in fast-paced, client-focused environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams and engaging senior client stakeholders.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong project management and delivery skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and teams
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
  • High proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and related software.
  • Self-starter, results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage workload in a dynamic and demanding working environment.
  • Culturally aware with the ability to adapt to diverse global work environments.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work constructively in a team and successfully contribute to group objectives.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to quality.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., aviation management, business, economics, or engineering).
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
