CTI is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proactively addressing them.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or issues.
- Support business development and bid and proposal efforts.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards.
- Explore and integrate new warfighting technologies and strategies to enhance project outcomes.
- Apply warfighting experience to evaluate capability gaps and propose innovative solutions.
Location: We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements and are located in one of the designated hiring regions: Ohio, Wisconsin, Camarillo, California and Denver, Colorado. This role requires up to 25% travel, which may include site visits, client meetings, team offsites, or industry events. Travel will be scheduled as needed based on project demands and business priorities.
Necessary Skills and Experience- At least 10 years in project/program management or 10 years’ experience in military operations.
- Experience with government, military or government contractor projects and programs.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communications, and writing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, information technology).
- Electronic Warfare background or understanding and its use within the DoD.
Security Clearance Requirement
- Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance (TS preferred)
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain security clearances.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Office, JIRA, Cost Point).
- PMP Certification, or similar project management certification.
- Experience in DoD test and evaluation.
- Understanding of DoD acquisition system including appropriate certifications.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience developing and implementing training curricula and modifying exercise scenarios.
- 10 years’ experience in tactical aviation.
- Knowledge about project management and processes.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and processes.
