Engineering & Supply (E&S) is looking for a passionate and driven project manager who can ensure project management of world-class membrane filtration systems for our global customers.

About the job

E&S Nakskov is part of Business Unit Separation Technologies (SET) and consists of project managers, 3D designers, automation engineers and welders/technicians in the workshop. The department is responsible for the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of membrane filtration systems for a wide range of applications in e.g. biotech, pharma and food industries. Responsibilities:

•      Project management - prepare and comply with budgets and schedules, ensure good dialogue with customers and team, and report accurately and in a timely manner to management.

•      Engineering - prepare P&ID, bills of materials, manuals, CE declaration and technical dossier. Dimension pumps, valves, heat exchangers, tanks, instrumentation, etc.

•      Prepare purchase orders and plan transport in cooperation with the purchasing function.

•      Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in workshop and commissioning of plant on site (SAT) together with automation

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. You refer to E&S Manager with place of work in Nakskov, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 25 – 50 days per year. Alternatively place of work can be in Søborg, but that will require intensive visits to Nakskov the first 6 months.

What you know

You have relevant Engineering, Marine Engineer (Maskinmester) or equivalent technical degree with experience in project management and design of process technology systems. You speak and write English at a high level and preferably also possess a good command of Danish and thrive in cross-cultural environments. We will ensure that you get the necessary training in design and commissioning of membrane filtration systems.

You focus on results that you achieve through clear communication, proactiveness and delivery on time and with the right quality. You are good at building relationships, and you like to travel and collaborate with our customers. As the head of your project team, keywords are involvement and empowerment. You are working structured and possess a hands-on approach to all aspects of the project from start-up to hand-over to customers.
