Discovery is looking for a talented and passionate Project Manager to join our team.

The Project Manager contributes to the mission by the full submission of projects for execution, registering and processing orders, and coordinating details with related departments and clients. In launching prospective projects, the manager enters project data, prepares schemes, conducts trainings, and communicates project launches to employees. In project management, they maintain client communication, prepare reports, control recruitment levels, coordinate shipment dates, and address non-compliance issues in collaboration with various departments. Additionally, the manager oversees the re-export process and supervises projects with third-lab laboratories for sample processing.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintain strong relationships with customers with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor and partner
- Develop a strong understanding of the customer’s business goals and challenges in order to effectively advocate and communicate customer’s needs to internal teams
- Provide product knowledge and industry guidance on best practices to effectively leverage Discovery’s offerings/experience for the benefit of the customer
- Provide a high level of quality service to customers through quick response times, escalating urgent issues internally in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to accurately convey customers’ requests within the context of established workflows
- Track and monitor key milestones and decision points to drive delivery of project objectives
- Support onboarding of new customers and help set up custom projects
- Generate and ensure the quality of product inventory reports, and other customer-facing reports as needed 
- Works collaboratively with internal team members and carries a positive attitude
- Partner closely with assigned BDD to support territory and company to meet/exceed the monthly/quarterly/yearly goals 
- Ability to investigate problems, develop solutions, prepare reports, and provide feedback to internal departments to implement sustainable solutions

Education and experience requirements:

- Degree in biotechnology, molecular/cell biology or related field preferred. 
- Minimum 3 years in a customer-facing role responsible for managing the direct relationship. Experience working in the life sciences field is preferred.
- Successful candidates will understand and have demonstrated capabilities in building quality relationships and enjoy helping people.
- Excellent communication skills, customer relations and problem-solving capabilities. As a client-centered area of activity, the candidate must have strong interpersonal and communications skills as well as a good sense of organization. 
- Self-starter who can work well independently on assigned tasks as well as being a contributor to team goals and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, technical, low-acceptable error rate workplace. 
- Demonstrated capabilities in application of standard software platforms (Microsoft applications) to achieve daily responsibilities. Applied experience in the use of Salesforce or NetSuite or other ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- English language proficiency
