Join us as Project Manager to handle and deliver projects with medium to high complexity & size as per the agreed gross margin, DOT and quality for one or more application areas. The complexity of a project is dependent on the newness and complexity of the involved process/es and the level of customer/consultant requirements. The position / About the Job:
In this job the Project Manager would be responsible for:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage project development from beginning to end i.e. through Engineering à Procurement à Construction. Follow the 6 Basics & live up to the vision of ‘World Class Project Management’.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables based on the agreed contract.
- Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals.
- Develop project plan considering project dependencies and critical path and schedule project timelines/ milestones using appropriate tools viz. MS Project & monitor.
- Develop communication documents.
- Deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements & documentation.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coordinate for implementing best practices/ tools for effective project execution and management.
- Estimate & submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes as & when required.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for smooth execution of the project.
- Ensure the external contractors complete their activities as per the agreed contract.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Motivate and supervise project team members, internal as well as external, and influence them to achieve project timelines.
- Attend meetings with customers, consultants, and external suppliers.
- Coordinate for effective project closure & hand over to the customer & to the E&S team internally.
What you can be?
Qualifications
- Chemical/ Mechanical/ Production graduate engineer having relevant experience in
- Project Management within the EPC industry.
Knowledge, Technical Skills and Nature of Experience
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of project management related to Process industries. Understanding of engineering codes & standards.
Skills:
- MS Office, MS Project, or any other project management tool. Certification in project management is desirable.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in the relevant project execution industry.
