Job Description: Project Manager
What you will do
Responsible for full life- cycle of projects from initiation to completion. Assists in the development of project/program plans across Enterprise. Apply Project/Program management methodology and appropriate project management framework for all projects activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, and opportunity and resource management activities). Assists with technical review of system design and documentation. Assists in continuous improvement activities. Manages small to large jobs or multiple projects. Successfully initiate, plan, execute and close all project deliverables as committed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional project teams with employees at various reporting levels
- Use disciplined project management methodology to define scope, develop project plan, and execute projects that adhere to guidelines and deliver within cost and schedule.
- Accountable for driving specific aspects of a large program with high complexity
- Responsible for assembling plans, interact with collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Teams ) and action items assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis,
- Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts.
- Communications and Reviews: Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and the Sub-process owners; WS leads phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
- Work in collaboration with individual contributors or cross-functional project teams that may be geographically distributed.
- Train and assist in project planning, cost estimation and related scope control. Learn to assess, prioritize and mitigate project risks.
- Responsible for coordinating activities of Program team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project/Program.
- Diagnose root causes of performance problems at the individual, team, and organization level and implement solutions, whether training-related or not.
- Serve as primary contact to senior Workstreams Leaders / Sr. managers for critical change initiatives within a highly matrix environment.
Skills Required
- 5-10 years related IT Project Management experience; preferably in a large, global organization.
- Proven experience managing projects within Waterfall and Agile Methodology is a must have.
- A Hands-on and results-oriented approach
- Demonstrated ability of influencing and executing organizational and mindset changes
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers; constructive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Using problem-solving/critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Cultural adaptability. Able to work in and with a global team that is geographically distributed. Independent and innovative spirit. Flexible and responsiveness to input.
- Open minded and culturally sensitive; well-structured and self-drive work approach; innovation driven.
- Self-driven and highly adaptable to Hybrid environments is a must have.
Education
Academic – Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer equivalent, MBA preferred., Business Administration, Finance management
