Plan, coordinate, and oversee dredging projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all technical, financial, and operational objectives are met.
Lead the preparation and submission of tender for the projects, commercials management, negotiaiton and ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal standards.
Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to maintain positive relationships and ensure project compliance.
Collaborate with the business development team to identify new project opportunities, develop proposals, and participate in client presentations.
Monitor project progress and produce regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures are strictly followed on-site and in project execution.
Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical teams, operations, finance, and procurement.
Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
Support post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, (Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field). A Master’s degree is an advantage.
Proven INTERNATIONAL experience (10+ years) managing dredging AND/or marine construction projects.
Ability to prepare and review technical and commercial tender documents.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of dredging processes, equipment, and maritime regulations.
Experience in business development with focus on tendering and bid management in the dredging/marine sector.
Excellent project management skills including scheduling (MS Project or similar), budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
