Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to join our SCITES 2 team in Doral, FL.
The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently is looking for a Project Manager to work onsite in Doral, Florida and have the opportunity to work in a high-profile IT and Cyber Services program supporting the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) 2 contract. Our customer maintains a highly demanding mission and requires our support to provide expert technical and professional management support to the commands enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. The Project Manager will provide direct support to the Program Manager and PMO and play a critical role in the successful execution of the program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Project Management Lead for day-to-day project operations.
Active member of the projects and proposal team for assigned projects, shaping the solution and methodology for delivery.
Responsible for achieving cost, schedule, and technical planned performance on the project(s) assigned.
Create project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status documents.
Establish cost baselines and explain variances and financial risks and opportunities related to each project assigned.
Provide weekly project status reports and review with the Government customers and internal leadership.
Effectively identify and report on project issues or related problems and potential risks. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables to ensure project performance.
Proven verbal and written communication skills.
Support process improvement and innovation.
Other PMO duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ of prior relevant experience or Masters’ with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
2+ years’ experience with project/program management.
Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Ability to think strategically, solve problems effectively and tenaciously follow-through to ensure project success.
Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated and driven to succeed.
Experience working with customers at all senior and technical levels with a high degree of professionalism and business acumen.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive results with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated financial management and forecasting skills.
Leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or DAWIA Certification.
ITIL Certification.
Experience working on FFP, T&M, CR, and hybrid contracts.
Experience with and knowledge of FAR, DFAR and other Government regulations.
Earned Value Management experience.
Prior DoD project experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
