Job Description

Due to an increasing number of projects, we are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a technical-scientific background to join our team. This role involves leading measurement projects, reporting measurement data, and selling measurement equipment. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality data and services to our clients both domestic and abroad.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading measurement projects where we sell data, including customer contact, project initiation, planning and execution of service and maintenance of measurement systems, and project closure.
  • Monthly reporting of measurement data (wind, waves, currents, other meteorological and water parameters), including quality control of data.
  • Leading projects where we deliver/sell measurement equipment.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for monitoring our measurement systems during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • University education; master’s degree, civil engineer, or equivalent in meteorology/hydrology and/or oceanography or other marine water sciences. Extensive relevant working experience can compensate for education background.
  • Experience in project management, including progress planning, financial management, documentation, and communication with customers, as well as leading project teams.
  • International experience from executing projects in different countries.
  • Experience in data collection.
  • Very good communication skills (Norwegian and English).

This position will require some travel, you will have to be able to obtain an approved health certificate (offshore certificate).
