THE HIGH LEVEL
The Project Manager will be responsible for project initiation, implementation, dissemination, and evaluation efforts to increase the adoption of virtual care tools within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). They will ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within scope, schedule, and within the designated quality parameters.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Demonstrate the uses and capabilities of new and existing virtual care products and/or platforms.
- Collaborate with clinical champions and teams implementing priority use cases to determine implementation processes including role- and team-based workflow analyses and related care process redesigns, technology adoption plans among target users, and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead and/or participate in cross functional projects, identifying and/or working on assignments identified by program leads including, but not limited to project, curriculum, and clinical decision support tool development.
- Act as a coach to clinical teams implementing priority use cases and collaborate closely with OCC leads to be responsive to implementation issues as they arise.
- Use standard data collection instruments to gather and analyze feedback from end-users.
- Research and conduct comprehensive analyses of multiple data sources, providing insights relevant to the scope and requirements of the associated project.
- Synthesize findings and turn insights and collected data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders including technology and design teams.
- Assist with developing program performance goals, planning documents, standard operating procedures, and training materials by identifying and describing information needs and drafting documents for the CHIS program team.
- Perform analysis of existing trainings and operational guides and make recommendations for updates and improvements.
- Engage in outreach planning and activities to improve Veterans' access to healthcare services via mobile/telehealth initiatives and programming, including innovative approaches such as virtual or onsite training/demonstration sessions.
- Develop, plan, attend meetings and trainings both in-person and virtually.
- Initiate and lead interdisciplinary groups.
- Work closely with strategic service delivery partners, subcontractors, and independent contractors
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesis of data to develop project and program background analysis and reporting.
- Author and provide technical writing recommendations for foundational program documents and project materials.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree field Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Clinical field preferred
- At least 2 years' experience in Project Management of IT healthcare projects
- You’ve been responsible for managing large projects in a fast-paced environment.
- You have helped to develop new programs from the ground up.
- Your adherence to contractual scope and performance obligations is just another day on the job for you.
- You possess strong executive presence, polish, communication skills and emotional intelligence. (C-level presentations are probable.)
- You have vast experience developing and implementing innovative approaches to patient care delivery.
- You have to obtain a VA Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship required)
- We’d love it if you have Clinical licensure (e.g., RN, PT, OT, ST, MD or Psychologist) or healthcare related degree (e.g., health or medical informatics, healthcare administration, human factors or biomedical engineering)
- We’d love it if you are an extremely familiar user of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- This position will require 15% travel.
