Position: Project Manager
Location: Cameron Park, CA
Status: Full Time
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

- $75,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience

General Description:
The project manager is responsible for successful management and completion of assigned projects. Ensures assigned projects meet scope, schedule, and budget goals. Requires interface, coordination, and communication with Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering and other department managers to ensure that the project goals are met. Manages assigned resources, interfaces with customers, demonstrates leadership. Capable of assisting with tasks directly related to performance and execution of assigned projects. Establishes and maintains standards of safety, quality, scheduling and profitability.
Supervises the training and overall performance of project-specific employees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.
- Make recommendations for revised procedures when problems are encountered.
- Maintain project documentation for internal and external customers.
- Provide leadership and management of project and personnel.
- Work under direction of President or assigned manager.
- Supervise assigned project resource.
- Operate welding equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8-10 years’ welding experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity of operation of the following equipment: TIG and MIG welder, Oxy/ Acetylene torch, grinders, hand drill, drill press, manual mill, manual lathe, resistance welders, forklift, and band saw.
- Capable of reading and understanding blue prints, drawings, sketches, specifications and manuals.
- Capable of sampling parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
- Time management skills.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced math skills.
- Project management skills.
